The easiest way to check whether you're insured to carry pillions (passengers) on your bike is to check your insurance documents, which if you have a bike policy that was purchased after 16th September 2025 or is due to renew after 16th October 2025, you can view and/or download in My Account.
You can find this information in the section in the Motorcycle Statement Of Fact sheet.
You should also check your licence to ensure that you are entitled to carry passengers.
