If your motorcycle is insured on an agreed value basis (as stated in your policy schedule), in the event of a total loss your insurer will pay the amount agreed.
If your motorcycle is insured on a market value basis, the insurer will pay you the cost of replacing your vehicle with one of the same make, model, specification, mileage, age and condition as your motorcycle immediately before the loss.
